Ashraf Magdy Mohamed brings over 34 years of experience in Egypt’s financial and banking sector, with deep expertise in financial analysis, public finance, and institutional accounting. He began his career at the National Investment Bank, where he held several senior leadership roles including General Manager of Accounts, General Manager of Final Accounts, and Deputy for General and Final Accounts. In these capacities, Ashraf led the preparation of financial statements, developed reporting frameworks, and contributed to strengthening fiscal governance within state-linked financial institutions. Throughout his career, Ashraf has built a reputation for connecting strategic vision with financial discipline—particularly during periods of economic reform and financial restructuring. He has also participated in numerous specialized programs focusing on Egyptian and international accounting standards, public sector auditing, investment strategy, and budgeting. Ashraf graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Zagazig University, majoring in Accounting. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Investment from Ain Shams University.

External Appointments

Ashraf has held board positions in key institutions across Egypt’s financial and industrial sectors. These include the Suez Petroleum Services Company, the Export Development Bank of Egypt, Misr Venture Capital Company, and Phosphate Misr. Through these roles, he has supported strategic transformations and helped align governance frameworks with national development goals.
